Montreal St.Andrew's Ball 2018

On November 30th, 2018 was held the Saint Andrew's Ball in Montreal at the Marriott Chateau Champlain.
It was a lovely evening that paid tribute to Scottish tradition.Clan Logan's guest that evening was Isabelle
Laflamme, our Clanswoman who helps us at the Montreal Highland Games. The Saint Andrew's Society of Montreal
gave their best to create a fantastic event we will always remember. There were cocktails, a Dinner and
Scottish dancers that helped make the evening priceless. This year was different for us as we
participated in the silent auction. All funds went to The Douglas Mental Health Institute. Two paintings That
were done by your Commissioner in Canada were donated. One was "The Fyrish Monument" a work done to pay tribute to the guest of honour of the evening, Mr.Ronald Munro Ferguson of Novar,15th Laird of Novar and his wife.
The second painitng that was donated called "Cnoc Ceislein" represents the very place where the monument stands.
A total of two hundred and ninety dollars was gathered to go to a good cause on behalf of our Clan. We look
forward to participating again and helping to make a difference in our community.
