Burns night 2019

Burns night
Clan Logan Canada

On Thursday, January 24th, the Scottish community in Montreal gathered to celebrate Robert Burns at the prestigious Mount Royal Club. It was an evening that paid tribute to tradition. Clan Logan attended the event with member Laurent Audar who wore his Logan Modern tartan kilt. We all started with a nice cocktail reception followed by welcome messages and a Selkirk grace. There was a piping of the Haggis. The address to the Haggis added excitement to the evening. We ate a wonderful traditional Scottish meal done by the exclusive and elegant Mount Royal Club. A toast to the piper, to the Queen and the Immortal memory of Burns were part of the highlights of the evening. We concluded with Auld Lang Syne. We would like to thank the Montreal Saint-Andrew's Society for such a fitting tribute to our national bard and poet, Robert Burns.
