On this very special occasion, people gathered to celebrate Montreal's 375th anniversary and canadian military excellence and tradition. The Régiment de Maisonneuve, Montreal's official regiment sponsors this ball with the support of the 2nd Canadian Division(Canadian Armed Forces). It was a magical evening with glitz and glamour. Clan Logan was represented by Steven Logan, Chief Ambassador of canada and First Clanswoman, Isabelle Laflamme.

It was a very elegant event that offered a tribute to our Canadian Armed Forces who have done a fantastic job protecting our country, helping civilians in need and defending our Canadian rights. The Mayor of Montreal, Denis Coderre and General Hercule Gosselin, Commander of the 2nd Division of Canada and Operational Forces were the honorary co-president Dignitaries of the evening. Many important people were in attendance. Among others, The Honorable J. Michel Doyon, Lieutenant-governor of Quebec, General Jonathan Vance, Chief of the Defense Staff of the Canadian Armed Forces, His Excellency Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montreal, the Mayor of Quebec city, Régis Labaume and Nick Baker, British Consul general of Great Britain.

Clan Logan made a grand entrance on the red carpet and was greeted by military personel. Inside, a silent auction was underway for those willing to bid on prizes. A drink or two were offered at the reception area as pictures were taken on a nice, warm, sunny day. Later on, There were speaches made and His Excellency Christian Lépine Archbishop of Montreal gave the prayer before we ate. There were many highlights to the evening. The bagpipers of the Royal Highland Regiment of Canada offered us unforgettable music and we toasted Her Majesty the Queen. At this venue, there was also a draw to win a pair of plane tickets for a European destination. Everyone that attended was offered a very special and unique gift not found elsewhere, a commemorative medallion to honour Montreal's 375th anniversary that featured the co-founders of Montreal, Paul Chomedey Sieur de Maisonneuve and Dame Jeanne Mance. The evening ended with a DJ turning the dance tables as we danced the night away. The Clan Logan Society of Canada would like to thank The Régiment de Maisonneuve for organizing this spectacular and impressive event.
