Montreal St-Patrick's Parade 2019
Montreal St-Patrick's Parade 2019
The Montreal Saint-Patrick's day parade celebrated its 196th edition on Sunday March 17th, 2019. Many Montrealers came to Saint-Catherine's street to participate and enjoy the festivities.
Scottish organisations also celebrated. Clan Logan attended with the Montreal Saint Andrew's Society. As we waited, members came despite the bitter cold weather. Laurent Audar, Krista-Lee Scott and Justin Tinkler helped Clan Logan get noticed. We even had a surprise member appear out of the blue to celebrate with all of us as we were parading down the street. Patrick Dionne-Kuno, a member from the province of Ontario appeared wearing his Logan Modern kilt!
After the parade ended, we joined the Montreal Saint Andrew's Society for a picture taken by Ian Aitken( former SAS President) in Dorchester Square, right in front of the Robert Burns statue. We really enjoyed Saint Patrick's day as it gave Clan Logan some visibility and allowed us to be proud of our fellow Irish Logans. We would like to thank The United Irish Societies for organising this event.
