Clan Logan attended a very special dinner on Saturday, October 26th, 2019. We looked forward to this event because The Régiment De Maisonneuve, The Royal Black Watch Regiment of Canada and Calgary Highlanders came together to Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the battle of the Schelt. Your Commissioner proudly attended with Laurent Audar, Our Vice President. This event was an important One for us.Earlier this year in Fergus, we had the honour and pleasure to met none other That the Lord Lyon himself who was very pleased to know of our effort in Canada. At this event, we met yet
another very important person. Clan Logan was elated to meet the guest of honour, Her Excellency, The Right Honourable Julie Payette CC CMM COM CQ CD DstJ, 29th Governor General of Canada appointed by Queen Elizabeth II on July 13th, 2017.
Her Excellency was very interested in knowing about Clan Logan in our country and the efforts we are making towards finding Our Scottish Clan Chief to regain our legal and noble status in Scotland. She commented on your Commissioner’s attire and display of the Logan Modern kilt. Madame Payette said I had a commanding prestance and that I represented my ScottishClan very well in Canada and thanked me for my efforts towards protecting our collective Clan heritage, traditions and ancestry. Nothing beats that feeling of making a difference and at that moment, I was extremely proud of all the Logans I have met and
Look forward to continuing and making us grow for all Logans in our country. We had a great dinner, met up with our friends from various organizations we deal with such as the Montreal Saint Andrew’s Society and Black Watch Women’s Division. It was a magical evening and want to thank everyone who made it possible.

The Clan Logan Society of Canada is based in Verdun, Quebec. It was founded by Steven Logan, Clan Logan Commissioner in 2016. We want to reunite all the Logans across the country and also find our Scottish Clan Chief.
