Our Partners!!
Through the years, Clan Logan Canada has worked with many partners, participating in their events and helping them fundraiser etc. Clan Logan Canada represented by Director Steven Logan, Vice Director Laurent, Representative of Ontario, Patrick Dionne-Kuno and representative of Manitoba, Brionne Logan have been working to build these important relationships. Here are a few of our partners.
For many years, Clan Logan Canada has been involved with The Montreal Saint Andrew's Society and our Director is a life member. We attend various events and fundraisers for the Society as we believe it is important to promote Scottish heritage and culture.
The United Irish Societies of Montreal do have a very special place in our hearts. Each year we participate in their events like the very important Montreal Irish parade held in downtown Montreal.
we maintain links to this group as we pay tribute to all Scottish Logans who went to Ireland and gradually became Irish. We have an ongoing relationship to this group through the years.
Clan Logan Canada aims to build strong ties to different Scottish groups and the 78th Fraser Highlanders are no different. We salute their commitment to excellence and our Director Steven Logan was dubbed an Ensign by the 78th Fraser Highlanders fort St.Helen's Garrison, a nice way of showing cooperation between clan Fraser and clan Logan and building this relationship for the future.
It goes without saying that we are also involved with the Black watch Regiment of Canada. More precisely, Director Steven Logan is part of the big three community organizations( Black Watch Veteran's Association( they help vets), Black Watch Officer's Mess(part of the prestigious Colonel's Circle), Black Watch family Division( sends parcels to military serving abroad) within the watch and acts on behalf of clan Logan as a civilian, attends events and helps with fundraising initiatives.
Clan Logan Canada believe that to get the word out about our Scottish Clan and the fact we are looking for the Chief, we must get involved with other organizations and help them make a difference. We are part of the Montreal Central Lions club as Steven Logan is proudly a Lion!! We enjoy sharing Logan traditions, heritage and ancestry with our Lions as this helps us with our international visibility. Every event or fundraiser done with them is shared all over the world as Lion clubs are everywhere. We enjoy making a difference with housing and food issues as the moto of the lions club says: We serve!
