Each August, the Pipes, Plaid and Pageantry parade signals the beginning of the Fergus
Scottish Festival and Highland Games weekend. It's a parade that allows various Scottish community groupsto be present and visible. Clan Logan was there for the second time at it's 69th annual parade held on August 7th, 2018. We paraded through downtown Fergus among the bagpipers, dancers and other scottish groups. People cheered us on and took pictures. After the parade, Clan Logan was surprised to learn that we have appeared in The Wellington Advertiser, a local newspaper, on August 16th in an article about the event. Clan Logan wished to that the city of Fergus, its citizens and organisers for a grand event.
